Desire in the void of separation,

Threatens the calm of reason.

Paralysis, an aphasia, traps emotion.

Oh love, you tyrant.

Tradition you shamelessly flaunt.

One on one you set to taunt.

How can this burning arrow,

Spread a crimson sorrow.

Smearing a clean tomorrow.

Each heated wave still is ours

Each crest a peak of desires.

Each minute an eternity of fires.

And so my love, no years are lost.

Tomorrow still exists.

Yet we still ask ourselves is love all it costs?

Thank you for listening.
